Mushrooms and carrots, cooking classes and garden parties, silly hats and silly faces... the Farm to School Love photo contest brought out the best of what we all love about Farm to School.

We're thrilled to announce the three contest winners:

1st Place: Amesbury Elementary School, Amesbury, MA

Teacher Patti Mooers's 3rd graders love fresh air and fresh veggies for all! And they loved spelling out Farm to School in their favorite veggies.

2nd Place: Burlington School Food Project / Champlain Elementary School, Burlington, VT

Teacher Aziza Malik loves that kids find more than carrots when they get out in the school garden and get their hands dirty. We love the expressions!

Staff Choice: Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Woodstock, VT

Kat Robbins shared this great photo of high school students harvesting shiitake mushrooms at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. They grew the mushrooms with the help of a local forester, in logs cut from the park, all through their new Locally Grown class. Kat says, "I love the connections that Farm to School can help us make between classes, the community, and what we eat!"

Thanks to all who entered the contest, and all who voted or shared what you love about Farm to School!
