Mayan couscous seared wraps and with cream sauce

Ingredients

1 pkg of roasted garlic couscous

½ tsp of ground cumin

1 tsp of salt

1 ¼ cup water

1 clove garlic

1 can corn

1 can of black beans

¼ cup of red onion

3 oz oil

1 fresh lime

1 small apple

¼ cup carrots

¼ cup turnip

1 tbsp vegetable bouillon base

¼ cup of cilantro

16 oz sour cream

1 pkg of taco seasoning/2 oz corn starch

1 can diced tomato

1 tbsp of oregano

1 ½ tbsp. of chili powder

16 oz of cheddar cheese( shredded)

2 heads of roman lettuce

1 pkg tortillas shells 10 inch

 

Preparation Instructions

Dice all vegetables to equal size

Add water to pot and cumin, salt, vegetable bouillon, oil and cook couscous to instruction on box

Parboil turnips and drain

Roast clove of garlic

Put couscous in large bowl, add all vegetables open cans of corn and black bean and drain and add to bowl ,dice apple an add mix all together

Put diced tomato in small pot and oregano and simmer for 10 min.

Cut lime and squeeze juice into bowl, add chili powder to mixture and mix more

In small bowl put sour cream and add taco seasoning and mix together

Put mixture into leaf of lettuce top with another, wrap in tortillas shell.

In frying pan add 1 oz of oil and brown the tortillas wrap, remove cut in half top with cream sauce and garnish.

Mix corn starch with water and use to glue tortillas together
