Tofu Lo mein

Ingredients

 

Sauce:

6 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons sesame oil

6 tablespoons brown sugar

6 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons corn starch

11/2 cups water

1 cube vegetable bullion

 

Noodles

1 10oz Package Lo Mein Noodles

6 Cups Water

Salt to taste

 

Stir Fry

14 oz tofu

1 1/2 cups broccoli crown

1 cup onion, thinly sliced

5 cups carrots, julienned

2 tablespoons ginger, minced

4 tablespoons garlic, minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation Instructions

Sauce:

Mix all ingredients

Noodles:

Broil water to boil

Add salt and noodles and boil for 4 minutes or until tender

Drain and set aside

Stir Fry

Heat vegetable oil in a pan

Add tofu, cook until brown

Add carrots and cook until bright orange

Add broccoli and onions and cook until tender

Add garlic and ginger and cook until aromatic

Add noodles to the pan and stir

Combine all. Serve.
